Team Trident joins the dragon boat race to support St Catherine’s Hospice
We’re excited to announce that Team Trident will be taking part in the Dragon Boat Race at Tilgate Park on Saturday 6 September 2025, in support of St Catherine’s Hospice.
With roots in a tradition over 2,000 years old, dragon boat racing has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing water sports—and a fantastic way to come together for a great cause.
Our team of 11 (10 rowers and one enthusiastic drummer) will be racing in a series of heats against other teams. While we’re hoping for a strong finish, the real goal is to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice and the vital care they provide to families facing terminal illness and loss.
We’re aiming to raise over £800, and every donation makes a difference. If you’d like to support us, you can do so via our JustGiving page.
