23 September 2026 | 8:30am – 2pm | Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens
The Southern Hospices Technology Leaders Forum brings together leaders from across the south for a half-day event focused on the topics shaping hospice technology right now. Expect expert-led sessions on compliance, AI and cyber security, plus an open panel on the challenges hospices are facing and how technology can support.
Agenda:
Set against the backdrop of Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, one of the most beautiful spots in Sussex, it is a chance to step away from the day to day and think differently. Alongside expert insight, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with peers and explore how others are approaching the same challenges.
This was a practical, demo-led session designed to show what modern SharePoint can support in a hospice environment, and what changes when everything comes together in a more structured, joined-up way.
Whether you are already using SharePoint and want to understand what the latest capabilities make possible, or you are still working from file servers and email, this session will show you what good looks like using licences most organisations already have in place, so your teams can find what they need, stay aligned, and work with greater clarity and confidence.

In today’s fast-moving digital environment, organisations need strong technology leadership to stay competitive, manage risk, and scale effectively. But for many organisations, hiring a full-time IT director isn’t always practical, or necessary.
A fractional IT director offers an alternative: experienced, strategic technology leadership delivered on a flexible basis. Instead of committing to a permanent executive hire, organisations gain senior guidance exactly when it’s needed, helping teams make smarter decisions, reduce risk, and align technology investments with organisational goals.
Hospices are under constant pressure, balancing limited time, stretched resources, and growing demand. AI offers a helping hand to ease that burden: streamlining administrative tasks, saving time, and allowing staff to focus on what truly matters, delivering compassionate patient care.
In this session, Louis Graham, Microsoft Copilot Specialist, shared how Microsoft Copilot is being used in hospices to make a difference. You’ll see live demos, hear practical examples, and leave with ideas you can bring back to your team right away, as well as the confidence to use AI.
